Ever wonder how a person makes the transition from being a Grace attender to actually becoming a member of the family here?  Are you curious about what we believe or how we operate?  Are you unsure about why you should want to be a member in the first place?  Kingdom Life is a new series of classes that will answer these questions and more.  This first session, Joining the Family, will deal with our basic beliefs, core values, and church membership.  Interested?  We'd love to have you join us.  Food and childcare provided. Please email becka@gfc.tv if you plan to attend. (A pizza supper will be served to children 5th grade and younger; if your child cannot eat pizza, please send a sack supper.)

The NIrV was designed to make the Bible clear and understandable to early readers and can be read by a typical fourth grader. For this reason, it is also of value to the millions for whom English is a second language. Thursday Morning Bible Study -We meet at 10:00 am in the Middle School room. We are studying the book of II Peter.

Celebrators Conference May 5th through 8th: We are planning a trip to Charleston, South Carolina for the Celebrators Conference with David Jeremiah as the speaker. Also featuring Mark Lowry, David Phelps, Babbie Mason & Charles Billingsley. The cost is $299 per person, if there are 2 people in your room. If you have a room to yourself, the cost is $469.  The cost includes the conference and your lodging, but does not include meals. If you are interested in going call Tracy @404-784-0411.

Lunch Buddy Program at RD Head Elementary School - This program is a lot of fun. Children love it when someone comes to school to have lunch with them. Some children don't have anyone in their life who does that. You can fill that void. We would love to pair you up with your own lunch buddy for this school year. You can decide when and how often you go, as it suits your schedule. This is such a wonderful opportunity to minister to a child. If you can help call Tracy Baker at 404.784.0411.

The Peru Construction Team: June 5th-15th
The team will begin construction on a Discipleship Training Center campus in Layo that will serve 1000 churches in the Cusco region! Pastor Buddy will be going there in September to dedicate the campus and teach pastors from all over the region.

Needs: Please pray about contributing toward the cost of construction materials (we are raising over $6000 for materials alone). Checks can be made out to "Grace Fellowship Church" (put "Peru Construction 0806" in the memo section of your check). Thank you for sending and praying!

The Peru Medical and Dental Team: June 13th-23rd

Over the past several years, Grace has served the Quechen churches in the mountain region by providing much-needed medical/dental services and supplies. As we prepare to return, we are collecting the items listed below to send with the team going in June.

Needs: Toothbrushes, Glasses (sunglasses, reading & prescription), Pain relievers (Tylenol & Ibuprofen), Tums, Zantac, Vitamins (Children's chewable - no gummy; Adult, and Prenatal), Small tubes of lotion (preferably with sunscreen). Large (500 to 1,000 count) quantities are the most preferred to save on space and weight. Boxes for your donations are located on either side of the entry doors to the lobby. Thank You!

Infusion: Monday night from 5:45-8 pm. Meet at Grace, then take grace to the community as we take the love of Jesus to local apartments. Contact Kenny if you would like more information. NOTE: This session of Infusion has ended, and will resume in June. Details to be announced.

Mission Care Group - We are a group that meets to pray and sign birthday cards for our missionaries. After interacting with the missionaries on short term trips, you understand how they appreciate hearing from us and being remembered in prayer for them. Also we hear reports from teams of some of their experiences. Please join us on the 1st Sunday of every month at 3:30 pm in the Encounter Grace room (Room 114, downstairs Main building).

Aid for Refugee Families - World Relief, a Christian organization that helps place these families in the US, is in need of your help. Apartments are set up for each of the families using donated furniture and household goods. If you would like to donate items, purchase groceries, or help World Relief workers set up the furniture in these apartments, contact Joshua Sieweke. For more info, you can also get in touch with Kenny Schmitt.
