Infusion: Reclaim the City
This is the local missions component of our overall missions strategy. At Grace we believe that missions is not something you have to go and do at some place far away, but it is a part of who you are every day of your life. Missions is about who you are, not what you do! This is why Infusion – Reclaim the City is central to our mission strategy. We want to teach our students to become actively engaged in their communities the way Jesus would be. Because of this we have numerous opportunities! House Church Projects

Once a semester each house church will develop a mission project that they will complete in place of one of their regular house church meeting. These projects will be developed by the students and facilitate by the house church leader. All house churches will have their projects on the same Sunday to that people don’t get confused :)

The TrueNorth Escape

Right now we are working on developing a once a month local missions service project for students on Sunday mornings. The projects will consist of meeting at Grace at 8:30am Sunday mornings for a time of preparation and prayer. We will then leave from Grace at 9:00am when TrueNorth starts to head for downtown Atlanta. From there we will spend the morning working with different Atlanta based ministries that are engaged with the poor, broken, and needy. From 10:00 to 12:00 we will be passing out meals, cleaning up streets, sharing our faith, and playing with kids. We will then return to Grace by 1:30 after eating lunch together.

Random Opps

These are opportunities come up at different times of the year. They include working with Operation Christmas Child at Christmas, donating cloths to the Lilburn Coop, Raising money for refugees, volunteering for community events, you name it. These opportunities will be announced on Sunday mornings and communicate via Email.
