Grace360 short term teams
Our goal is to train and provide opportunities for the Grace community to go to places of need in the name of Jesus with the healing words and deeds of the Kingdom. We believe Scripture calls every believer to engage in this great adventure, and during the history of our church this priority has resulted in our folks building beautiful relationships and fruitful endeavors throughout the Americas, into South Asia, and across Europe. During the the last several years, however, we believe God is calling us especially toward the 1.57 billion Muslims (and that number is growing!) with whom we share our neighborhoods, our nation, and our globe. We would love for you to be a part of that calling.
Below, you'll find more information about our short-term trips and training opportunities for 2010.

2010 teams
- College Chicago
- Jan 7-10, $100
We're working with a mosque and a local church in the Windy City to build relationships of peace and facilitate a Jesus in the Qur'an weekend with representatives from both religions attending. This one could be huge! Contact: aj@gfc.tv. - Sahara Desert
- Due to Saharawi hosting capability, we have postponed this trip until late Spring. For more info, please contact Jon Stallsmith. Cost estimate $2000
Few of us had ever heard of the Saharawi, a Spanish-speaking Muslim people group who have lost their land and are living in the middle of the desert until this summer. After an exploratory trip this fall, we believe we can serve these largely forgotten people by training in English, helping them cultivate their land, and praying with them for justice. (for more about the Saharawi, visit www.betheirvoice.org)
Contact: matts@gfc.tv. - Israel Trip
- Date: tentatively sheduled for April 18-25; Cost TBA
Israel trip: Beta testing - we hope to take a small team to the Holy Land to investigate possibilities for a regular trip in the future. If you'd be interested in being part of this exploratory team, please let us know. Contact: stalls@gfc.tv. - High School Peru
- June 7-22, $1900 (mostly freshmen and sophomores, but also adult and college leaders needed)
Serve in orphanages, put on a youth rally, climb on glaciers, teach about sexual purity in public schools, serve at a pastor's conference and more! Contact: erin@gfc.tv. - High School Jordan
- June 6-25, $2500 (mostly juniors and seniors, but some adult and college leaders needed)
Our primary activity will be teaching conversational English with Jordanian peers--the topics include religious background, hopes and dreams for the future, and understanding of God. This will be our second year with this project, and we think it will be even more exciting and fruitful than the last. Also, spend the night in the same desert as Abraham once did, float like a buoy in the Dead Sea, and eat some amazing hummus! Contact: erin@gfc.tv. - College Jordan
- June 23-July 12, $2500
This trip is the second bookend to the work begun by the high school team above. We believe the ongoing interaction will be invaluable to building Kingdom relationships and partnerships! - Sahara Desert
