What is an mcg?

The Missional Community Group or MCG is an important part of Grace Fellowship Church. As Grace Fellowship grows, the MCGs provide a place where you can connect with other people on an intimate level and reach out in a mission focus based on your desires and interests. We welcome you to visit the individual MCG homepages. They will help you decide which group is best suited for you.

An MCG is a small group that shares a missional commitment, builds a caring community, and serves God together. MCG's are intended to extend the church into our neighborhoods, our nations, and the next generation!

Four Cornerstones of an MCG:

  • Targeted---committed to a common, stated, approved mission
  • Together---committed to fellowship, encouragement, accountability, and healing within the community
  • Transformational---committed to study and learn God's word together to enhance and encourage spiritual growth of all group members
  • Timely---committed to be in the community, dedicated to the mission, for a stated period of time (usually a school year)
