The Elder Board is the ruling body of Grace.  The pastor and staff are accountable to the Board.  The Elder Board’s most important function, however, is to serve and pray for the congregation.

Annually, elder nominations are solicited from the congregation and the current board.  Nominees are evaluated by the nominations committee of the Board and slate of candidates is proposed.  Once affirmed by the Board, candidates are affirmed by the congregation.  The term of an elder is three years, and then he is eligible for reaffirmation.
